Create members can now select Saint Peter’s Healthcare System to get better care at lower cost
Brighton Health Plan Solutions, a leading healthcare enablement company, announced the addition of New Jersey-based Saint Peter’s Healthcare System to Create, the first and only marketplace of healthcare systems in the tri-state area. This new partnership with Saint Peter’s Healthcare System continues the rapid expansion of Create health plans in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut.
Create is offered to commercial, labor, and public sector plan sponsors as an alternative to traditional open access health plans, allowing families to shop on a user-centric, cloud-based platform for a single healthcare system from which to receive all of their care. Create’s innovative model helps to improve quality of care, build stronger doctor-patient relationships, encourage coordinated care, and immediately lower costs for both plan sponsors and members.
“Aligning the interests of employers, patients, families, physicians, and hospitals provides a direct pathway to better care at a lower cost—which is why we developed a completely new health benefits model, Create,” said Simeon Schindelman, CEO of Brighton Health Plan Solutions. “By partnering with Saint Peter’s Healthcare System, an integral healthcare provider in New Jersey, we are able to bring tailored health benefits and personalized care to even more people across the tri-state area.”
Headquartered in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Saint Peter’s Healthcare System provides over 150 healthcare services through its more than 27 centers and facilities, including Saint Peter’s University Hospital and The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s University Hospital. Through its collaboration with Brighton Health Plan Solutions, Saint Peter’s Healthcare System is now one of the participating healthcare systems offered to members who enroll through Create. Other health systems featured on Create include New Jersey-based Hackensack Meridian Health and Englewood Hospital and Medical Center; and New York-based Mount Sinai Health System and Long Island Health Network.
“Our team at Saint Peter’s Healthcare System is deeply rooted in our mission to provide quality and affordable care to all who live and work in our community,” said Leslie D. Hirsch, interim CEO and president, Saint Peter’s Healthcare System. “By partnering with Brighton Health Plan Solutions on Create, we are able to enhance the affordability and personalization of the care we provide, while ensuring that relationships with our patients are as strong as possible.”
